Let us take a look at traditional Tuḷu script.
Traditional Tuḷu script is little different. The differences can be seen in u & ū diacritic and in conjuncts.
Kooṭakṣara (conjunct Letters) were used in traditional Tuḷu script for some particular combination of letters.

Conjunct Letters are used instead of ottakshara in Tuḷu, Malayaḷam and Devanagari script. These conjunct letters are also referred as kooṭakṣara in sanskrit Language. I'm giving conjunct letters used in traditional Tulu script in the below image.
The above conjuncts are Homo conjuncts i.e., conjoining same glyphs.
Hetero conjuncts are the letters which are formed by conjoining two different letters. The hetero conjuncts used in traditional Tuḷu script is given in the below images.
As shown in the above image, Tuḷu script contain lot of conjuncts.
